  • Recently worked with David Dimbleby on Question Time as the audience warm-up man!
  • Once appeared on a prime time BBC television comedy show 'Joker In The Pack'
  • Performed street theatre in Hollywood during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games
  • Had his first book'Writing a C.V. That Works' rejected by 10 publishers. It has since sold over 25,000 copies
  • His second book 'Perfect Public Speaking' has been translated into Polish and Chinese
  • Whilst presenting a seminar in Croydon, visited the toilet with his microphone still switched on!
  • Initially trained and worked as a Probation Officer in Yorkshire
  • Shares the same birthday as Fidel Castro, Alan Shearer and Alfred Hitchcock

  • Graduated from Bradford University in 1987 with a BA Honours Degree in Applied Social Studies
    (incorporated behavioural and social psychology)
  • Background in Personnel Management with Unilever
  • Began his training career working with the Dale Carnegie Organisation (1991)
  • Has a diploma in Counselling (1992) and a diploma in Performance Coaching (1999)
  • Is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
  • Founder member and Fellow of the Professional Speakers Association
  • Elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management
  • Author of five books and two audio programmes
